Our Management & Society Curriculum Advisors put together this list of links based upon the needs of students. Many of the questions that arise during registration appointments can be answered by visiting these links. We recommend students visit these links before consulting an advisor.

Links:

  • Student Central - This site is useful for you to figure out what requirements you have fulfilled and what you have left to take. It should not substitute seeing an advisor, in fact, you should visit this site prior to seeing your advisor.
  • Undergraduate Transfer Equivalencies - This site will help you determine what classes will transfer from another university. The list is big but not comprehensive, if you don’t find the college where you are thinking of taking a summer class then you should see someone in Jackson Hall.
  • Friday Center / Division of Continuing Education - You will find classes offered on-line here. As of now there are no core MNGT classes offered but you may find it useful for electives and possibly some of the intro MNGT classes.
  • Career Services - Internships are offered through career services. If you are interested in an internship see Career Services, not the MNGT advisor. Also, if you're interested in internships for course credit see Career Services.

The Curriculum Advisor is Clinton Key.  Clint answers questions and advises students about MNGT reqiurements.  Alice Dawson is the Arts & Sciences Advisor for MNGT and provides information about General College and Arts &Sciences Perspective Courses in addition to MNGT information.

Which Sociology course should I take? What's the difference between Econ 100 and 101? What MNGT requirements do I have left to complete?

SEE Clint!

Have I completed everything I need to graduate? How many total hours have I taken? Does this course count as a Perspective or an Elective course?

SEE Alice!

Do I have to complete Introductory Level MNGT courses before taking the Core courses?

No, but it is recommended to complete introductory courses first so that you have a working knowledge of terms and ideologies that will be developed in advanced courses. Also, most of these courses satisfy General College Perspective requirements.
