The Richard L. Simpson Faculty Support Fund

The Richard L. Simpson faculty support fund was established by his wife, Dr. Ida Harper Simpson, Emeritus Professor at Duke University and also an adjunct professor at UNC Chapel Hill. Prof. Richard Simpson taught in the Sociology Department for many years and was editor of Social Forces from 1969 to 1972 and from 1983 until 2004. The fund was established to support faculty research and teaching.
