I have two advisors, which one should I meet with?

The Assistant Director for Undergraduate Studies for the Sociology Department (Rene Iwo) serves as the curriculum advisor for the Management and Society major. They answer questions and advise students about MNGT requirements. Questions in regards to General College and Arts & Sciences Perspective Courses in addition to MNGT information, can be directed towards the Social and Behavioral Sciences Academic Advising program with contact information listed here.

Which Sociology course should I take? What’s the difference between Econ 100 and 101? What MNGT requirements do I have left to complete?

Please see the Assistant Director for Undergraduate Studies for the Sociology Department (Rene Iwo).

Have I completed everything I need to graduate? How many total hours have I taken? Does this course count as a Perspective or an Elective course?

Please see the Assistant Director for Undergraduate Studies for the Sociology Department (Rene Iwo).

Do I have to complete Introductory Level MNGT courses before taking the Core courses?

No, but it is recommended to complete introductory courses first so that you have a working knowledge of terms and ideologies that will be developed in advanced courses. Also, most of these courses satisfy General College Perspective requirements.
