“Who Will Care For Us: Long Term Care and the Paraprofessional Workforce”
Today there are three million Aides providing long term care and the numbers will double in the coming decades as the demand for long term care grows. These Aides earn on average $10 an hour. They form a large part of America’s low wage workforce. This talk will consider strategies for improving their jobs and reconsidering the delivery of long term care.
